1.  Magnet
We attach a newsletter from the Magnet Site developers.  They will issue these monthly, and those closest to the site should get printed copies.  A dedicated project website –  – has been set up to provide regular updates and information on the project. The website contains the latest news from site, contact details and forthcoming works. The website will be accessible from next week.

 2.  Deportation threat
Many of you will have heard already about the shocking detention and threatened deportation of Stoly, one of the very familiar and much liked staff at Earth.  Here are the links to the CNJ story, and to the petition that is circulating:

3.  Local author at the Owl
IARA resident Magnus Mills Raglan St will be at the Owl at 6.30 on Wednesday 12 April to talk about his new novel.   The Field of the Cloth of Gold was published to great critical acclaim and was shortlisted for the Goldsmiths Prize 2015. – See more at:

4.  Help!  IT expertise needed
Please let us know if you can help one of our members with this request:

“I have an ongoing digital problem,  I have hundreds of photos now stored digitally in various sites, i.e. Windows 10, Drop Box Google etc.   I need help combining these photos into one place so I can access them — I have a reasonable knowledge but find linking them together very complex and overwhelming, is there anyone that can help or recommend anyone that can do this task!”

5.  Elders meeting
We had a very interesting meeting this week, when Cllr. Georgia Gould came to talk to us about what is happening with Adult Social Care in Camden.  If you would like a copy of the notes, let us know.  We also talked about a possible outing to the Chelsea Physic Garden.  If you are interested, email us. The Elders meeting are open to everyone.

6.  Egg and spoon for Easter
Show off your racing skills on Easter Sunday!  Meet at the east end of Inkerman Road (by the school playground) at 12 noon on Sunday 16 April.  Bring your own hard boiled egg and spoon, and get into the competitive spirit.  All ages welcome.

7.  Alma Street Fair
You will soon be getting a letter about the Fair – it is happening in just a couple of months and there is a lot of energy.

We will also be asking people to come forward with offers of help on the day – and particularly to do a couple of hours as a volunteer steward, offering general help. You get to wear a high vis vest and to feel a part of a fantastic community event, so please let us know if you can help.
