Alma Street Fair
We’ve received some lovely feedback and appreciations from residents about the fair. If you’d like to see some pictures go to http://www.inkermanresidents.org.uk/about/the-alma-street-fair-4-june-2017

Would you like a stall at St Patrick’s summer fair?

They have written to us to say:

St Patrick’s summer fair is approaching (Sat 24th June) and it turns out we have already 12 tables taken out of 14! What it means is we have 2 tables free for a local exhibitors.

We would not want any food provider as the school provides a BBQ and cakes but anybody you could connect us to that is selling craft or anything non-food, please contact jeanvincent@gmail.com.”

Camden’s gambling policy – have your say

Camden is consulting on its gambling policy. They say:

The gambling policy enables us to regulate gambling and to minimise the risk of gambling related harm to our residents and visitors. It sets out how we expect all gambling premises in Camden to operate when providing gambling facilities such as betting services or gaming machines.

We want to ensure that Camden offers vibrant cultural and leisure activities, but we also need to focus on Camden Plan priorities for reducing crime and keeping the borough a safe and attractive place to live and visit.

The changes we are proposing and which we would like your feedback on are:

  • updated references to changes in the law and national guidance

  • a new local area profile which identifies the types of people most at risk of gambling related harm and where they are located in Camden

  • a new area setting out the requirement on gambling operators to produce risk assessments

  • a range of updates to existing chapters.

The consultation is open until 1 September 2017. If you’d like to look at the proposals and take part, please visit camden.gov.uk/gamblingconsultation.”
